Armenian Geographic - Yerevan

Aragats is a lonely extinct volcano, the highest mountain of nowadays Armenia. Aragats is a majestic natural monument with four peaks – Northern – 4090.1 meters, Western – 3995.3 m, Eastern – 3908.2 meters, Southern – 3887.8 meters. During our hike we will climb the Southern peak.

Mount Azhdahak is an extinct volcano, the highest point of Geghama Range, 3597 meters above the sea level. On the top of the mountain a crystal-clear crater lake is situated, which is filled with icy water of the mountains all year round. From the top of the volcano you can see Mount Ararat, Hatis, Ara and Aragats. A lot of secrets and mysteries these mountains keep.
